You are invited to participate in a survey conducted by the Direct Support Professional Association of Minnesota. DSPAM is a member driven professional association for Direct Support Professionals. DSPAM is dedicated to the development of a highly competent and professional human services workforce. DSPAM's recently appointed Board of Directors is seeking input from DSPs to help set the direction and purpose of the organization. Your input counts!

DSPAM Mission
DSPAM is dedicated to the development of a highly competent and professional human services workforce by supporting and working together with DSPs, self advocates, families, and allies.
DSPAM Vision
DSPAM has a vision in which all Minnesota DSPs -

are valued and respected in their communities.

receive livable wages and benefits.

stay longer with their employers.

complete one or more levels of a national DSP credentialing program.

collaborate on diverse projects with self-advocates, families, and allies.

use their leadership skills by presenting at conferences and training events.
DSPAM Current Projects

Developing a DSPAM Strategic Plan that:

Uses the results of a statewide survey of 100 + DSPs

Addresses the prioritized needs and issues facing DSPs in Minnesota

Engages DSPs in implementing the Action Initiatives

Creation of a new DSPAM domain and website.

Focused membership recruitment drive.

Training the Board of Directors of DSPAM.
