New Jersey DSPs Workforce Development
Exciting things are happening for DSPs in New Jersey.
Nearly 200 DSPs are participating in the piloting of a statewide
Career Path utilizing the College of Direct Support combined with
mentoring and portfolio completion. More than 60 DSPs received
Level 1 Certification in the Fall and were recognized at a statewide
DSP Conference. More good news is that plans are underway for
future statewide implementation of the College of Direct Support; making
its courses and the Career Path available to DSPs statewide.
